Food & drink export clinic

Food and drink companies based in Yorkshire are invited to a special export clinic to find out what support is available within the region.

Elsa Fairbanks, the UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) sector specialist for food & drink, together with other UKTI experts, will meet with businesses at the World Trade Centre in Hull on 12 August.

As well as talking about the general export opportunities available, businesses will also have the chance to find out about UKTI programmes, including Passport to Export and the Targeted Export Support Scheme (TESS). Passport to Export provides new and inexperienced exporters with the training and support they need to develop overseas business. In order to meet the specific needs of food and drink businesses, a special Passport to Export programme for the food and drink sector has been developed, starting with a one-day training workshop on 9 October. More information will be available about this at the Export Clinic in Hull.

If you would like to book a meeting slot at the Export Clinic, please contact Elsa Fairbanks as soon as possible, indicating whether you would prefer a meeting in the morning or afternoon. Please note that the organiser is away from 16-29 July so any enquiries made within this period will be answered after the 29 July.
