UK companies working in the environmental industry can access sector-specific information via the Environmental Industries Sector Unit (EISU), a Government unit which operates within the sectors group of UK Trade & Investment.
Responsible for promoting the UK environmental industry overseas, EISU aims to increase the UK’s share of the potential markets worldwide.
EISU produces a range of information for the UK environmental industry, about global market opportunities and sources of funding for environmental projects. It also arranges and participates in inward and outward trade missions, seminars, exhibitions and other events in the UK and overseas.
The EISU website features a database of UK suppliers, which is free to join for UK organisations interested in exporting Environmental Goods and Services (EGS) overseas.
