Tickets are now on sale for the fifth Yorkshire & Humber Chinese New Year Dinner, taking place on 14 February 2008.
The prestigious black-tie event with champagne reception will celebrate the ‘year of the rat’ and will be held at The Queens Hotel in Leeds.
A prize draw will take place on the evening for delegates to win a trip for two to Beijing, including four nights’ bed & breakfast accommodation at the five-star Loong Palace Hotel and return flights.
The event will feature three key-note speakers: Sir David Brewer, Lord Mayor of the City of London 2005-06 and the chairman of the China-Britain Business Council; Miles Templeman, director general of the Institute of Directors; and Ms Jiang Fan, counsellor for economic & social affairs at the Chinese Embassy.
UK Trade & Investment is one of the supporters of the event, and also a sponsor, along with Yorkshire Forward.
Tickets are priced at £68 + VAT (£11.90), including champagne reception and half a bottle of wine per person.
